Sold three drawings at the art sale this year. =)
Know what to get JP for Christmas.
Work called and offered me overtime for working tonight, so I said yes. Next paycheck is going to be very nice.
I need to work on Thanksgiving, but oh well. Because my mom is having dinner ready at noon so the three of us who work nights can spend time together before Dad goes to work and my brother and I go to work. Plus I can take leftovers to eat later that night.
And I got the pieces cut out yesterday for a shirt I’m sewing (with some help from my wonderful mom). I am resigned to the fact that I need bigger clothing now, with how my body is changing, and I’m not too thrilled about it.
Overall, life is still going very dandy.
I really enjoy working overnights.
Things are going fairly well, I’d say.
Getting things ready for the art sale.
Worried about money, as usual.
I really need to sell some work.
Here’s to hoping.
Oh, if any of ya’ll are looking for some drawings, hit me up. I should be able to do you some.
And so it goes on going well.
JP and I have been married for a month and a half now, which is very nice. Our relationship hasn’t really changed, which is great, because what we have works for us. And that is what matters most.
I haven’t wanted to tell yet, but we have a kid on the way. Not sure how far along, but somewhere around 5 months. I hadn’t had health insurance since graduation, but a doctor’s appointment is scheduled for October 1st since I was able to qualify for medical assistance, which made me very happy when I got that letter.
My relationship with my mom has vastly improved, for which I am very grateful.
I also got a permanent position working in the back room at Walmart. It was quite a relief to get the job offer, and a lot of stress is now gone.
Still don’t have any really good friends up here to hang out with, but that’s okay. All in time, I suppose.
I hope things continue to go this well, but we’ll see what each day brings.
